Location & Video Therapy & Payment
3600 Clipper Mill Rd, Ste 221
Baltimore, MD 21211
Clients come to us from the Baltimore, DC area, as well as other parts of Maryland and Pennsylvania. We are available for video therapy for clients who reside in MD. The office building is ADA accessible and there is a single stall, all gender restroom on our floor. We are directly across from the Woodberry light rail stop and there is also free visitor parking in the parking lot directly in front of the building.
Please inquire whether your therapist is offering any in person sessions before scheduling your appointment. If you prefer in person, please communicate that when you inquire about a first session and this may determine which therapist is available for you.
Typically, we can provide video therapy to anyone in Maryland and some therapists are licensed in DC as well. . We will have some in person appointments available beginning mid-February 2022 for vaccinated and boosted clients.
The benefits of video therapy is that those without transportation, with disabilities that make travel difficult, those who want easier scheduling or who want more privacy are able to receive therapy. You don’t have to cancel sessions when you’re sick or the weather is bad.
Some limits to video therapy are that there is not the same emotional energy that is felt when you’re in the room together, it’s more difficult to pick up on nonverbal communication, and some types of trauma therapy or child therapy may not be as effective when not in person.
Please specify when you call if you are interested in video therapy or in person therapy.
Please visit individual therapist’s pages for payment information. We are not in-network with insurances. You will be provided a superbill to submit to your insurance if you choose, however this does not mean you will receive reimbursement. That depends on your particular insurance plan and out of network benefits. You can request a Good Faith Estimate of your cost for the year when you speak with our intake coordinator.
